Guarantees

The firm IPG guarantees strict respect of confidentiality. Any information found or in our possession is subject to non-disclosure agreements.

Fees

Fees represent a fixed and single percentage of the net assets. This percentage includes the costs of opening cases, research time, travel costs, and all the costs inherent in the various formalities required in settling our cases. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the assets from the estate are less than the liabilities, all the costs incurred would be payable by our firm. The fees are determined in accordance with the complexity of the case, any travel involved and the amount of the inherited assets.

FAQ

IPG International IPG International
Why would a genealogist contact me if I have not made any enquiries?

A person related to you and whom you do not know has died, leaving behind no children or any other relations of closer kinship than you.

The genealogist has identified you after conducting a search, all while you were unaware of your rights. Of course, you could not make any enquiries as you knew nothing about the case for which the genealogist was trying to find you.

In the event of an insolvent estate, the contract often stipulates that no fee shall be due to the genealogist given that his/her fees are based upon the estate assets.

The genealogist pays all the costs relating to settlement of the estate in advance when the notary does not have sufficient funds to cover the expenses.
